Pakistani security forces have successfully neutralized seven terrorists in two intelligence-based operations (IBOs) in Dera Ismail Khan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, according to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).

First Operation: Four Terrorists Killed in Daraban

An intelligence-based operation was carried out in the Daraban area following reports of terrorist activity. Security forces effectively engaged the terrorist hideout, leading to the elimination of four terrorists.

Second Operation: Three Terrorists Eliminated in Maddi

In another operation in the Maddi area, security forces neutralized three more terrorists. According to ISPR, the militants were involved in multiple terrorist activities in the region. Weapons and ammunition were recovered from their possession.

Recent Counterterrorism Efforts in Pakistan

Pakistan’s security forces have intensified counterterrorism operations in recent weeks:

  • February 17: 30 terrorists killed in Sararogha, South Waziristan.
  • February 15: 15 terrorists, including key ring leaders, were eliminated in Dera Ismail Khan.

Ongoing Anti-Terrorism Operations

Security forces continue sanitization operations in the affected regions to eliminate any remaining threats. The ISPR reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to eradicating terrorism, ensuring long-term stability and security.
