The Pakistan military announced it had eliminated 30 terrorists in three separate operations across the volatile Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, as reported by ARY News, citing the army’s media wing, ISPR.

According to ISPR, the security forces conducted an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in Lakki Marwat on Friday and Saturday, targeting terrorist activities. During the operation, 18 terrorists were killed, and six others were injured.

Another IBO was carried out in District Karak, where a gunfight resulted in the elimination of eight terrorists.

In a third encounter in the Bagh area of Khyber District, security forces neutralized four terrorists, including prominent Khwarij leaders Aziz ur Rehman Qari Ismail and Mukhlis. Two other terrorists sustained injuries during the exchange of fire. Weapons and ammunition were also seized during these operations. The ISPR stated that the neutralized terrorists had been involved in various attacks on security forces and civilians.

An additional operation took place in Dosalli, targeting a reported Khwarij presence. Security forces engaged the location, killing six Khwarij and capturing two others.

In another IBO in Esham, North Waziristan District, three terrorists were neutralized, and two were injured after an intense exchange of fire.

On January 11, security forces killed five terrorists, including their leader Shafiullah Shafi, in Maddi Dera Ismail Khan. The ISPR noted that the troops effectively engaged the Khwarij during the operation.

Furthermore, on January 12, nine terrorists were killed in two separate engagements in North Waziristan, as confirmed by ISPR and reported by ARY News.
