Over 38,000 Dead In Gaza: How Much Longer Will The Violence Continue?

Gaza Ministry of Health reports that Israeli airstrikes have claimed the lives of at least 40 people in the past 24 hours. Additionally, 75 individuals have sustained injuries in these recent attacks, pushing the total number of injuries since October 7 to a staggering 87,903.

The ministry also revealed that the overall death toll has now reached 38,193, with the casualties including over 15,983 children and 10,637 women. The increasing fatalities and injuries underscore the severe humanitarian crisis unfolding in Gaza.

The Israeli military has justified its recent actions by asserting that the UNRWA headquarters in Gaza City harbors combat equipment and detention rooms used by Hamas. This claim comes amidst intensified military operations and continued conflict in the region.

Meanwhile, fear and uncertainty grip the population of eastern Gaza City, as the Israeli military has expanded “immediate” evacuation orders to include the Tuffah, Daraj, and Old City neighborhoods. This move has prompted a mass exodus of residents seeking safety from the escalating violence.
