According to Butler County District Attorney Richard Goldinger, one attendee succumbed to a bullet injury sustained during the shooting. The shooter was also killed by the Secret Service, as reported by CNN, citing a Secret Service source.

District Attorney Goldinger confirmed that Trump, who appeared to have sustained an injury to his ear during the incident, will be fine. He was promptly escorted off the stage by US Secret Service agents and taken away in a motorcade. Videos circulating on social media showed Trump bleeding from his ear, although there has been no official confirmation regarding the severity of his injury.

US Secret Service spokesman Anthony Guglielmi stated that protective measures were immediately implemented following the incident. In a message on X, the previous Twitter platform, Guglielmi stated, “The former President is safe as the Secret Service has put protective measures in place.” “This is now an active Secret Service investigation and further information will be released when available,” he said.
