Elon Musk’s Daughter Denies Father’s Claims, Says He’s ‘Desperate For Attention’

In a series of posts on Meta-owned Threads, Vivian Jenna Wilson, Elon Musk’s estranged daughter, strongly refuted her father’s recent statements about her childhood and accused him of harassment. Wilson, who is transgender, denied Musk’s portrayal of her early years and criticized his anti-trans rhetoric.

Musk had claimed that Wilson was “born gay and slightly autistic,” and recalled how, as a child, she would pick out clothes for him and call them “fabulous.” He added, “But he was not a girl.”

Wilson, who legally changed her name from Xavier to Vivian in 2022, contested her father’s account, stating, “This entire thing is completely made up and there’s a reason for this. He doesn’t know what I was like as a child because he quite simply wasn’t there, and in the little time that he was, I was relentlessly harassed for my femininity and queerness.”

She described Elon Musk’s version of her childhood as “entirely fake,” emphasizing that she never used words like “fabulous” at the age of four. Wilson clarified, “I did not have a ‘love of musicals & theatre’ when I was four, because y’know… I was f****g four,” and noted that her interest in these areas only developed in the 8th or 9th grade.

Wilson also addressed her father’s refusal to acknowledge her gender identity. “I’m legally recognized as a woman in the state of California and I don’t concern myself with the opinions of those who are below me,” she stated. She further accused Musk of being “desperate for attention and validation” and operating in a “ketamine-fueled haze.”

Earlier in the week, Musk had vowed to destroy the “woke mind virus” in a conversation with Canadian psychologist Dr. Jordan Peterson, claiming it had “killed” his son and alleging he had been tricked into consenting for Xavier to go on puberty blockers.

Vivian Jenna Wilson’s candid response highlights the ongoing tension between her and her father, as well as the broader issues surrounding trans rights and family dynamics in public discourse.
