A distressing incident occurred in Hyderabad where a woman and her teenage daughter were allegedly bricked into a wall by their relatives over a property dispute, as reported by ARY News. The incident took place in the Latifabad No. 5 area, prompting immediate action from police and concerned neighbors who dismantled the wall to free the victims.

The woman recounted that her brother-in-law, Suhail, along with his sons, had confined them in a room before building a wall to seal them in. She also accused Suhail of ongoing harassment and claimed he possessed crucial documents related to their house, ARY News reported.

Law enforcement swiftly responded by registering a case against the accused. Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Dr. Farrukh Linjar assured the public that legal proceedings were underway to hold the perpetrators accountable.

In a related incident on May 24th in the Chamkani area of Peshawar, at least five people were killed in a property dispute, according to police sources. Authorities reported that violence erupted when two factions engaged in gunfire, leading to the fatalities. The police have filed a First Information Report (FIR), noting that the conflict had been ongoing between the groups for a prolonged period.

Similar instances of violence due to personal animosity or land disputes have been reported in the past, according to ARY News.
