A startling incident unfolded in Assam when a resident discovered over 35 snakes in their bathroom, turning a scene straight out of a movie into reality. A video shared by news agency ANI captured the moment, showing numerous snakes slithering out from beneath a large rock, with the resident seen collecting them into a bucket.

ANI reported, “Around 35 snakes were found in a house in the Kaliabor area of Assam’s Nagaon district. The snakes were recovered by Sanjib Deka, who is an animal lover.” The video quickly went viral, garnering over 9.3 million views as social media users reacted to the unusual sight.

In response to the video, one user commented, “Not a good place to build a toilet, snakes may come back again,” highlighting the concern for the safety of the residents. Another user expressed their fear, stating, “I’ll die if I see a snake at my home.”

Sanjib Deka, who rescued the snakes, shared his experience with ANI, saying, “The house owner informed me about the presence of snakes, and I reached the spot. I found many snakes crawling around the place. I recovered around 35 snakes crawling from a newly constructed toilet of the house. Later, I released the snakes at the Joisagar Dalani area.”

This was not the first time Deka encountered such a situation. Previously, he had rescued a 14-foot-long giant Burmese python weighing over 55 kg from a tea estate in Kaliabor.
