A panel discussion on “My Youthful India” was organized at the Punjab Engineering College, Chandigarh. The discussion focused on the importance of the youth population in India, which constitutes more than 65% of the population less than 35 years of age.
The program aimed to discuss various aspects of youth engagement and empowerment in the making of a better India. Various student panelists, including Keshish, Shiraj Mangat, Siddharth Kulshreshtha, Hemaldeep Lohtia, Aryan, Pranav Dhariwal, and Avi Sinha, along with several members of the NSS Club, participated in the discussion.
The panel discussion covered topics related to the benefits of the youth demographic, the need for skill development, mental health awareness, legal advocacy for human rights, research, and innovation, among other aspects. The entire program was sponsored by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India.
Such discussions help enhance the capacity of young people and provide them with the necessary skills, knowledge, and support to actively contribute to India’s development. In the end, Prof. (Dr.) Arun Kumar Singh expressed gratitude to the esteemed guests, emphasizing the importance of research and innovation.
