WWDC 2024: Apple CEO Tim Cook Likely To Announce These AI Features–Check Here

At the upcoming Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) 2024, Apple will most likely launch a range of AI features on June 10.

As per Tech insider Mark Gurman, these new features will fall under the umbrella of ‘Apple Intelligence’.

Besides these features, Apple will likely launch new passwords App and recent version of Music widget for the iPhone Control Center with the launch of iOS 18.

The current features, such as Siri, will be enhanced, along with innovative AI-driven capabilities like health coaching, which is expected to utilize advanced sensors to deliver updated health data for both existing and new hardware.

According to early rumors, iOS 18 is set to significantly integrate AI by developing an internal chatbot, dubbed Apple GPT, and conducting trials of Generative AI for customer service tools. Thus, suggesting a potential collaboration with OpenAI’s ChatGPT.

The premium tech giant has also confirmed that AI will be incorporated across different services.

Which means, that users might get AI assistance for writing documents in pages or making presentations using Keynote.

The company’s voice assistant Siri will introduce major upgrades like ability to field questions and auto-complete sentences in messages. Which will be powered by Ajax language model.

Notably, another interesting feature will also be launched, titled ‘Greymatter’, which will contain various AI enhancements.

Example: Under ‘Greymatter Catch Up’ users might be allowed to request Siri for a summary of recent notifications and will also activate its updated intelligent response system, which will take various contextual factors into account such as individuals, organizations, and events to deliver more precise responses.

What’s Different This WWDC 2024

Although WWDC is expected to primarily concentrate on software advancements, the possibility of hardware announcements has not been dismissed. But it remains to be seen, whether Apple will launch new hardware like M3 Ultra Mac Studio at the tech event or it will release it separately.

As the tech event WWDC draws near, rumors suggest that Apple may announce the international expansion of its Apple Vision Pro during the WWDC keynote. Whose details are still under wraps.

Besides its expansion announcement, the operating system of VisionPro, visionOS, might also get series of updates at the event, which will improve functionality and user experience of the Vision Pro. Thus, enhancing its appeal among developers and users.
