In the Rajasthan Legislative Assembly elections, this time 18,68,788 women voted more compared to last time. The percentage of women’s votes also increased from 74.66 to 74.72 compared to last time. This year, in the state, more women voted than men. During the recent election, the men’s voter turnout remained at 74.53%. A total of 3,92,11,399 votes were cast, with 2,51,98,492 women registered as voters. Out of these, 1,88,27,294 women exercised their right to vote.
Seats where women are ahead:
In the state, the percentage of women’s votes increased on 88 assembly seats compared to the previous election (2018). The top five constituencies with the highest percentage of women voters in the legislative elections were Pokaran, Ghatol, Badi, Shahpura, and Bayatu. The percentage of female voters was 88.23%, 85.40%, 84.66%, 84.44%, and 85.04%, respectively.
Which MLA’s seats are affected:
Most women voted for the Congress’s Saleh Mohammed and BJP’s Mahant Pratappuri. On the other hand, the Ghatol Legislative Assembly seat remained in second place. In the ongoing elections, Congress’s Nanalal Ninama and BJP’s Manshankar Ninama are competing against each other on this seat. Giriraj Singh Malinga, who contested the election against the BJP after leaving the Congress, also witnessed a significant turnout of women voters in the Badi seat. In terms of voting percentage, this seat ranked third among all the seats.
