A disturbing case of gang rape has emerged in Jhalawar, Rajasthan, where a woman fell victim to a heinous crime committed by two unidentified individuals. The incident took place near the Kalisindh River bridge in the Munderi area of the city. The victim was engaged in garbage collection with her family and was kidnapped by two young men and subjected to gang rape.
The woman was discovered in a distressed state near the school in the Kapasiyapuya area by passersby, who promptly took her to the hospital. Jhalawar Police Superintendent Richa Tomar stated that upon receiving information about the crime, police officials arrived at the scene, and the victim underwent a medical examination. The woman, who had initially been admitted to the hospital for unconsciousness, regained consciousness around 5 pm and reported the gang rape to her husband.
According to the victim, the two perpetrators abducted her around 10 am, took her to a nearby jungle, and committed the heinous crime. She was found unconscious around 2:30 pm, and after regaining consciousness, informed her husband about the incident. The hospital police station took action, and the Jhalawar Women’s Police Station has formed a Special Investigation Team (SIT) to probe the case.
Inspector Babulal Meena of the Jhalawar Women’s Police Station revealed that the accused individuals are currently at large, and efforts are underway to apprehend them. A dedicated team has been assigned for further investigation, and the medical examination of the victim has been conducted. The case of gang rape has been officially registered at the Jhalawar Women’s Police Station, and a thorough investigation will be conducted into the matter.
