A-19-year-old woman was allegedly abducted from Koramangala by a group of four people and gang-raped for more than four hours in a moving car.
They pulled the woman, who was sitting in the park, into their car at around 10 pm on 25 March and sped in the vehicle. They allegedly raped her in the moving car, the police said.
According to police, the accused dropped her near her house on 26 March morning and threatened her with “dire consequences” if she reported the incident to the police.
The shocked survivor, after undergoing treatment with the help of her family and friends, lodged a police complaint.
After getting the information, the Koramangala Police acted promptly and detained four people who were involved in the incident. The arrested accused have been identified as Sathish, Vijay, Sridhar, and Kiran, all between the ages of 22 and 26.
“We are investigating the matter. All the four have been arrested and they are being interrogated,” a police officer said.
