Woman constable dies by suicide in Mehrauli

Police reported on Monday that a 26-year-old female constable with the Delhi Police allegedly committed suicide in her rented apartment in the Mehrauli neighborhood of the nation’s capital. On Monday morning, the incident was reported to the police. “A PCR call regarding a woman’s suicide was made in the early morning. It was discovered that a woman from Mizoram, who was 26 years old and working as a constable at PS Kishangarh, was renting a home in Ward No. 2 Mehrauli. She committed suicide by hanging herself in the night in her rented home, according to the police. Police officials added that a probe into the suicide’s cause had been started.
