Why PM Modi mum on recurring Manipur violence, asks Mallikarjun Kharge

Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge on Thursday sought an extensive statement from Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Parliament regarding the violence in Manipur and questioned why PM Modi is mute in the House while he is giving a statement outside the House on the Manipur issue. Kharge went on to say that Manipur is in flames. During the Monsoon session of Parliament, Rajya Sabha LoP Mallikarjun Kharge stated that Women are raped, naked, and paraded, and the PM is keeping quiet. The PM is remaining silent and making statements outside. The video is about three months old and is being reported to be from May 4, a day after the ethnic clashes occurred in the northeastern state.
