The guidelines stress the correlation between poor diet and non-communicable diseases, which contribute to over 56% of health issues in India.

In response to the allegations, the owner of the shop, Channi Singh, has vehemently denied the claims, stating that they do not prepare or serve “diesel paratha” to customers. Singh attributes the video to a blogger’s attempt at humour and asserts that they strictly adhere to using edible oil for cooking.
