There was a stir in the village after the incident. A huge crowd of villagers gathered at the spot. After the murder of the Sarpanch, heavy police force has been deployed in the village.
According to primary information, Rajkumar alias Raju, Sarpanch of Chhichhdana village of Gohana area, had left home on Monday morning on a bike to go to his farm. On the way, bike riding miscreants surrounded them and started firing bullets. The Sarpanch was hit by several bullets. The family members immediately took him to the hospital, but the doctors declared him dead.
The news of the murder of the Sarpanch also created panic in the police. A police team was immediately sent to the village. By then a crowd of villagers had gathered there. Seeing the tense atmosphere, more police were deployed in the village. After investigation, the police and forensic team collected evidence from the spot and after this the body was sent for postmortem. The police have set up a blockade to arrest the attacker
