The table tennis and badminton competition among the players of Vidyut Nigam concluded at Jaipur Club. The competition was inaugurated by Rajasthan Electricity Transmission Corporation Secretary Administration Mahendra Pratap Singh and Chief Personnel Officer Amitabh Gupta.
In men’s singles table tennis, Deepak Sharma emerged as the winner, with Rajeev Madan as the runner-up. The men’s doubles table tennis winners were Rajeev Madan and Rahman Khan, and the runners-up were Pawan Sharma and Deepak Sharma.
Neha Nimesh secured the victory in women’s singles table tennis, with Deepika Kaler as the runner-up. The women’s doubles table tennis winners were Deepika Kaler and Neha Nimesh, while Anjana Aggarwal and Priyanka Soni were the runners-up.
In badminton, the men’s doubles winners were Mahendra Kumawat and Mahesh Parewa, with Deepak Sharma and Anshu Jain as the runners-up. Mahesh Parewa claimed victory in men’s singles, and Deepak Sharma secured the runner-up position.
The women’s doubles winners in badminton were Sheela Chaudhary and Shweta Kain, with Priya Sharma and Shikha Sharma as the runners-up. Shweta Kain won the women’s singles category, and Kalpana Gajraj was the runner-up.
The competition saw enthusiastic participation from male and female players representing all electricity corporations. Chief Personnel Officer Amitabh Gupta announced that the winners and runners-up would be awarded during the Republic Day celebrations on January 26 at Vidyut Bhawan.
