Vicky Kaushal drops song ‘Badhte Chalo,’ from his upcoming blockbuster Sam Bahadur

In anticipation of the war drama ‘Sam Bahadur,’ the makers have unveiled the film’s first song, ‘Badhte Chalo.’ Composed by Shankar Ehsaan Loy and penned by Gulzar, the song’s visuals and tone are poised to evoke a deep sense of patriotism. Vicky Kaushal, who portrays India’s war hero and first Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw, shared the track on Instagram with the caption, “Rukna Nahin. Jukna Nahin. #BadhteChalo! Song out now, listen in!”

Directed by Meghna Gulzar, the film also features Sanya Malhotra and Fatima Sana Shaikh. ‘Sam Bahadur’ is set to hit theatres on December 1. The recently released trailer showcased Vicky Kaushal in a formidable avatar, concluding with a powerful dialogue asserting his authority.

The movie delves into the life of India’s first Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw, covering his illustrious career spanning four decades and five wars. He made history as the first Indian Army officer promoted to the rank of Field Marshal and played a pivotal role in India’s victory in the 1971 Indo-Pak war, leading to the creation of Bangladesh.
