With the onset of the New Year in the state, the cases of Covid-19 are on the rise. And in view of this, the state government has decided to postpone the Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit-2022 to be held from 10 to 12 January 2022. The government has been preparing for the summit for the last two months.
A high-level meeting convened by the Chief Minister after the meeting with the Prime Minister decided to postpone the summit for the time being.
Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel gave a comprehensive review of the situation, taking full precaution to prevent further spread of the virus in the state. In view of all these, the Chief Minister has decided to postpone the 10th Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit to be held from 10th to 12th January 2022 in the wider interest of all the citizens of the state.
Patel has extended special thanks to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his continuous guidance and inspiration for organizing this summit. The Chief Minister said that the Prime Minister has always been concerned about the welfare, happiness and security of humankind and health and well-being.
