After the conclusion of the voting in the Rajasthan Legislative Assembly elections, former Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje visited the Gotameshwar Mahadev Temple in Pratapgarh district and the Tripura Sundari Mata Temple in Banswara district on Sunday for special prayers and rituals. Raje spent about 15 minutes in the temple. Along with Raje, former MLA and former minister Shrichand Kriplani from Nimbeheda in Chittorgarh and party candidates from Banswara and Pratapgarh districts also visited the temple for darshan.
Raje performed special prayers and rituals in the sanctum sanctorum of the temple for more than an hour and prayed for the success of the BJP. On Saturday, just a day after the voting concluded, former Chief Minister Tripura Sundari visited the darbar of the temple. It is speculated that she is trying to show her support for BJP candidates. Pandit Nikunj Mohan Pandya, who performed the pooja at the Tripura Sundari Temple, mentioned that former CM Vasundhara Raje performed special prayers and rituals, praying for the victory of the BJP.
In addition to this, Raje was scheduled to visit the Mehndipur Balaji Temple for prayers and rituals. However, due to personal reasons, Vasundhara Raje cancelled the program at the Mehndipur Balaji Temple. After the pooja and rituals at the temple, former Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje discussed the voting with BJP candidates and officials at the guest house of the temple. They also discussed the future strategy.
