Vasundhara Raje addresses distressed farmers, pledges relief

On Sunday, former Chief Minister of Rajasthan, Vasundhara Raje, visited Anupgarh to address a public meeting. As soon as Raje started addressing the gathering, a farmer grabbed her hand and began crying. The farmer cried for quite some time while holding Vasundhara Raje’s hand. The farmer has accused the Congress government of shutting off irrigation water.
When asked about the reason for the farmer’s distress, he said that the Congress government had stopped his water supply, affecting irrigation in his fields and depriving him of drinking water at home. In response, former Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje directed the BJP officials to address the farmer’s issues.
Vasundhara Raje began her address by paying respects to the land of Anupgarh. She criticised Congress strongly and claimed that it had failed to fulfil its promises of providing employment to the youth. She also attacked Congress on issues such as farm loan waivers, alleging that it had not fulfilled a single promise. Additionally, she criticised the government on issues of women’s harassment, Dalit oppression, and paper leaks.
Raje stated that the BJP government had previously worked on supplying irrigation water to the last farm and compared it to the Congress rule, where farmers did not receive proper irrigation. In her speech, Raje assured the farmers of 6E (6th standard) that their issues would be resolved once the BJP came to power, providing significant relief.
She also highlighted the development work done by the BJP, such as constructing roads in Anupgarh with a budget of 100 crores. Raje appealed to the people of Anupgarh to support the BJP candidate Santosh Bawri and assured them that the BJP would win the Anupgarh Assembly constituency with a significant majority. Former minister Surendra Pal Singh, former MLA Lalchand Meghwal, former MLA Pawan Duggal, former MLA Ashok Nagpal, candidate Santosh Bawri, Raju Baba, President Priyanka Bailan, Vice President Satpal Munjal, Rajan Taneja, Mohan Lal Bedia, Anoop Singh Ramgadiya, Mohit Chhabra, Vijendra Bhambhu, Sandeep Bhullar, Vinay Charaya, Shravan Nanda, Rani Duggal, Gabbar Singh, Manaram Kukna, Babu Baholia, Bansi Jasuja, and Bansi Saraswat were also present at the event.
