UPSC recommends to U’khand govt for conducting exams transparently

The Union Public Service Commission made multiple recommendations to the state government to conduct examinations transparently, officials said on Tuesday.
The commission has also suggested deploying a separate sector magistrate to transport the examination material.
In a letter to chief secretary SS Sandhu, commission chairman Dr Rakesh Kumar made a series of recommendations.
Along with the suggestion that the principal and in charge of examination centres be given special executive magistrate powers to conduct the examination, the commission also recommended the appointment of a designate officer of administration in these centres for foolproof arrangements.
Abhinav Kumar, Special Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister, told “The commission has asked to start the process in October for 4,000 recruitments.
The commission has sent several recommendations to the government on how to conduct the examinations flawlessly.
Kumar also assured the commission that he would help and would provide the desired resources.
Earlier on September 9, Union Minister Jitendra Singh informed that Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) deputation rules have been relaxed to encourage IAS and other All India Service Officers, as well as those of Central Services, to get posted in newly created union territory Jammu and Kashmir.
