The Punjab Police said on Sunday that their initial investigation into the Chandigarh University video leak case yielded only one video of the accused. Mohali SSP Vivek Soni addressed a press conference after the incident sparked widespread outrage, claiming that they had only found one video of the accused herself.
The SSP confirmed that no suicide attempt or death occurred. According to the SSP, one of the students in the viral video of a student being carried towards an ambulance suffered from an anxiety attack.
“The student said she only recorded her own video. And in our investigation also, we have found out that there is one video. Electronic devices and mobile phones have been seized and will be sent for forensic examination, the SSP said.
