Unidentified man takes lift and injects the 46-year-old to death

In a horrific incident, a 46-year-old man died in Telangana’s Khammam district after being injected with poison by an unidentified individual who had taken a ride with the victim. The event happened on Monday in Mudigonda mandal’s Banapuram.

According to police, the accused left the scene after injecting the man to death. The victim asked the bystanders for assistance after receiving the injection.

Reportedly, the 46-year-old man fainted following the injection and was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Police claim that the exact cause of the death will not be known until the autopsy report is released. Police in Mudigonda say they are trying to find and detain the accused.

After travelling a distance, the accused injected the bike rider. After being unconscious for some time, the man passed away.The incident has caused a tense situation in the neighbourhood.

The victim has been identified as Sheikh Jamal Saheb, a resident of Boppara in the Chintakani mandal. According to media reports, he left for Jaggayapet in the NTR district of Andhra Pradesh on Monday morning.

“The victim was going to his daughter’s residence on his motorbike at Gandrai village in Andhra Pradesh’s Jaggayyapet block that lies on the borders of Khammam. Once he reached Vallabhi village in Mudigonda block, a stranger wearing a monkey cap requested the victim for a lift on his bike. A few minutes later, the accused administered an injection to the thigh of the victim. The accused jumped off the bike before Saheb realised what had happened,” the media report quoted Mudigonda police station sub-inspector Thota Nagaraju as saying.
