The Border Security Force (BSF) confiscated approximately 221.96 gms of suspected brown sugar worth Rs 1.10 crore on Tuesday from a train traveling from Silchar to Agartala in Tripura’s Unakoti district, according to an official.
The suspect, however, managed to flee by taking advantage of the crowd of passengers, according to the BSF. On Tuesday afternoon, a BSF team initiated a Special Operation at Railway Station Kumar Ghat, conducting a thorough search of the coach of a train traveling from Silchar to Agartala in response to a specific input.
