On Monday, gunfire broke out in a courtroom in Pakistan’s Punjab province’s Bhakkar district, according to ARY News, which cited police officials.
Officials claim that the incident occurred during extended sessions in Judge Bhakkar Kalorkot’s courtroom. During the case hearing, two people allegedly opened fire on the opposing group.
According to the police, two armed males were apprehended on the court grounds, and the injured were transferred in serious condition to the hospital, according to ARY News.
Police think a long-standing animosity was to blame for the incident.
