Ahead of the meeting between the Prime Ministers of India and Bangladesh, Tripura Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha met with Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi on Monday.
I am very happy to meet Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji in New Delhi today, Saha wrote on social media after meeting with PM Modi on Sunday morning.
Prime Minister Modi was updated by the Chief Minister of Tripura on the status of various ongoing federal and state government projects in the areas of health, education, trade, and infrastructure development.
He also wrote “The Prime Minister has assured to further extend the necessary assistance of the central government for the overall development of Tripura. We are committed to continue development work for the welfare of the people of the state in the vision of the Prime Minister”.
It is also important to note that, in order to advance trade and economic growth, the Bangladeshi government must work with Tripura to resolve a file of information created by the office of the chief secretary of Tripura
