On Monday, the 15th Tribal Youth Exchange Program was organised by Nehru Yuva Kendra in collaboration with the Central Government Youth Program and Sports Ministry and Home Ministry at Raj Bhavan.
Governor Kalraj Mishra said that tribals are a nature-worshiping society. There is a need to learn from their nature-nurturing traditions. He said,
“The Tribal Youth Exchange Program is an opportunity to understand India, the land of unity in diversity and to be exposed to the concept of ‘Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat’.”

He said that the work of preserving these traditions should be done under the Tribal Youth Exchange Programme. Along with the rights granted by the Constitution, he also called upon the youth to always remain alert in performing their duties.
Earlier, tribal youth from Garh Chiroli, Maharashtra, Malkangiri in Orissa and Visakhapatnam in Andhra Pradesh gave beautiful dance and music presentations of the tribal areas.
