Training camp on first aid and home care concludes in Panchkula

The Indian Red Cross Committee, in collaboration with St. John Ambulance India Haryana State Branch Chandigarh, successfully concluded a lecturer training camp on first aid and home care at Lakshmi Bhawan Dharamshala Mansa Devi Panchkula. A total of 48 participants from 18 districts of Haryana state actively took part in this comprehensive training camp.
The closing ceremony, attended by the Chief Guest Dr. Mukesh Aggarwal, highlighted the pivotal role of the Red Cross in social service and its dedication to human welfare. Dr. Aggarwal emphasized the camp’s primary objective of fostering a spirit of philanthropy and training lay lecturers to serve the community effectively.
During the event, Dr. Mukesh Aggarwal shared insights into the CPR awareness campaign conducted by the Haryana State Red Cross. The campaign, which ran from July 25 to September 9, 2023, reached both rural and urban areas, providing CPR training to 66,124 individuals and creating awareness about life-saving methods. Dr. Aggarwal urged the trained participants to actively disseminate the principles of the Red Cross among the wider population.
Camp Director Sanjeev Dhiman welcomed Dr. Mukesh Aggarwal as the Chief Guest and presented a bouquet in appreciation. Dhiman briefed the Chief Guest about the activities conducted during the training camp. National Headquarters representatives, Mrs. Shanti and Praveen Mahajan from New Delhi, evaluated the participants along with all the faculty members.
Ramesh Choudhary, State Training Supervisor, expressed gratitude to the Chief Guest, faculty members, and participants at the end of the program. Notable attendees included Master Trainer Ravidutt Sunita Dhull, Meenu Kaushal, Chandrapal, Sunil Pahadia, Chandra Mohan, Ranjit, Suraj Maurya, and Vijay Kumar. The successful conclusion of the training camp marks a significant step toward enhancing first aid and home care skills in the region.
