TOP HRs Gather at NMIMS Chandigarh on building resilience in the age of open AI

SVKM’s NMIMS Chandigarh organized an HR Conclave on the theme, ‘How to be More Resilient in Today’s Dynamic Scenario of Open AI.’ The conclave featured industry leaders and Human Resource professionals from top organizations engaging in panel discussions on wide-ranging topics.

The HR professionals at the event included Mr. Anirban Das, CHRO, Lakshmikumaran and Sridharan Law Firm; Dr. Ajay Sharma, Serial Entrepreneur – CEO & Founder, Metaboxfy; Mr. Hitesh Gulati, Founder, Diversity Ace Business Consulting; Gunjan Joshi, Head Talent Acquisition – Trident Group India; Mr. Manish Verma, VP, Fidelity Information Services (FIS); and Amanjot Kaur, Director, IFM Fincoach. They also took part in three enlightening panel discussions held at the conclave.

The first panel discussion focused on the topic, ‘Navigating HR in the Digital Era,’ where the significance of the ability to solve problems, confront challenges, and recover from mistakes was discussed. The skill of adaptability stands out as the key to cultivating a resilient and dynamic workforce. The next one saw discussions on the topic, ‘Building Resilient Workforce,’ where the necessity of the digital era in developing a tech-savvy and upskilled workforce was discussed. The subject of the third panel discussion was ‘Engaging GenZ in the Modern Workforce,’ where the key highlighting point was the missing desire and will power of GenZ. The experienced guests also shared their rich insights during the interactive Q&A sessions held after each panel discussion.

Anirban Das, CHRO, Lakshmikumaran and Sridharan Law Firm, shed light on HR practices by stating, “Companies evaluate people through internships, and there has been a drastic increase in the integration of AI in the field of law.”

“As artificial intelligence (AI) continues to advance, there is a possibility that individuals whose work is considered to have limited or diminished value may be replaced by AI technologies,” said Dr. Ajay Sharma, Serial Entrepreneur – CEO & Founder, Metaboxfy, highlighting the importance of AI.

Amanjot Kaur, Director, IFM Fincoach, highlighted skills and employment by stating, “Emerging from one’s comfort zone can be challenging, and the real struggle to secure employment is a common reality.”

The conclave was held to get industry insights into the challenges and opportunities brought about by the rise of Open AI, its impact on HR practices, and strategies to bring digital transformation to the workplace. The panelists also discussed how to develop resilience in the workplace and manage and retain performance in a hybrid workforce.
