Toddler dies in roof collapse triggered by cylinder blast

In Sultanah, a one-year-old girl met with a tragic death due to a cylinder explosion. The explosion was so intense that it caused the roof of the house to collapse. Four other family members were seriously injured due to being trapped under the debris. The incident occurred in Ward Number 23 of Sultanah town in Jhunjhunu. All the injured have been admitted to the government BDK Hospital in Jhunjhunu.
Sultanah police reported that they received information about the roof collapse at around 5 am in Ward Number 23 of the town. Fatima (1 year), daughter of Arif, lost her life. The girl’s father Arif (30), mother Naseem (28), daughter Snaah (5), and Aliya (3) were injured. All of them have been admitted to the BDK Hospital in Jhunjhunu. However, the police have not confirmed the cylinder explosion yet. The SDM also reached the spot based on the information.
Injured Naseem stated that she got up in the morning to feed the child. While heating milk on the gas, there was a sudden and powerful explosion. This caused the house’s roof to collapse. Hearing the sound of the explosion, people in the vicinity rushed to rescue the trapped fam.
