Three Lashkar terrorists killed in J&K’s Kupwara

KUPWARA: Three Lashkar-e-Tayyaba terrorists were killed taking the count to five in an encounter between terrorists and security personnel in Jammu and Kashmir’s Kupwara district in the Machhal sector on Thursday, police said. “Three more terrorists of LeT killed (Total 5). Identification being ascertained. Search operation in progress,” ADGP Kashmir said. The operation is still underway, the police added. Earlier in the day, in a joint operation with Jammu and Kashmir Police, personnel of the Indian Army foiled an infiltration bid along the Line of Control in the Kupwara sector.
