NEW DELHI: Delhi Police’s Special Cell on Thursday arrested three people from the African continent who are allegedly part of an international narcotics drugs syndicate. The police have seized from them 6.044 kg of methaqualone and 2.058 kg of heroin worth more than Rs 40 crore in the international market. According to the police, they were also staying illegally in the country. “Three Delhi-based, illegally staying citizens of African origin, including two Nigerian and one Sierra Leone nationals associated with an Inter-National Narcotics Drugs Syndicate have been arrested by Special Cell,” said a statement by the Delhi Police.
