Telangana Polls: Rahul Gandhi vows 2 lakh government jobs within a year under Congress leadership!

Telangana Polls: Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, in a scathing critique of Telangana’s Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao-led government, pledged to offer 2 lakh government jobs within a year if the Congress assumes power. Rahul Gandhi made this commitment during an interaction with youth at Ashok Nagar in Hyderabad, Telangana, on Saturday.

Speaking candidly to X on Monday, Rahul Gandhi criticized the prevailing situation under the ‘Dorala’ KCR sarkar, asserting that the youth in Telangana are enduring significant hardships. He introduced the ‘Job Calendar’ as a fundamental measure to alleviate their distress, promising 2 lakh government jobs within a year, a restructured TPSC resembling the UPSC, and ‘Yuva Vikasam’ entailing Rs 5 lakh assistance.

Rahul Gandhi reaffirmed this as a firm pledge, saying, “The future of our youth is secure under Congress’ Prajala Sarkar; this is my guarantee!”

In a prior statement following his interaction with the city’s youth, Rahul Gandhi lamented the unfulfilled aspirations of those preparing for competitive exams in Ashok Nagar, Hyderabad. He criticized the KCR-led administration, highlighting the disappointment of Telangana’s youth despite a decade of statehood.

Unemployment has been a major issue in Telangana, which has been exacerbated by multiple exam cancellations, including the recent cancellation of Group-1 services preliminary exams by the Telangana high court. Tragically, a young aspirant, Pravalika, around 25 years old, reportedly committed suicide as a result of the TSPSC exam postponement, igniting outrage and criticism of the ruling government.

As Telangana prepares for elections on November 30, followed by vote counting on December 3, the state expects a three-way race between the incumbent TRS, the BJP, and the Congress.
