In protest against the farm bills passed by the Union government and demanding the continuation of agriculture produce purchase centres in the state, the Congress Legislature Party leader Bhatti Vikramarka Mallu along with party MLAs and MLCs will undertake 13 days state wide tour “Raithulato Mukhamukhi” (Direct interaction with farmer’s) in Telangana, starting from Adilabad district. The tour which is going to start on 09th Feburary will cover many districts of Telangana state and it will culminate in Khammam District on 21st February.
This tour programme aimed to expose the nefarious agenda of the Modi Government which is trying to betray the farmers. During the tour, the Congress leaders along with Bhatti Vikramarka Mallu will be interacting with farmers in the districts, to understand their problems. As the part of the tour program, the delegation of the Congress leaders will be visiting market yards and agricultural fields.
This tour program is also aimed to rebuild confidence among the farmers who are under distress due to the pro-corporate policies adopted by the Union government and the State government.
CLP leader Bhatti Vikramarka Mallu has been forefront in Telangana State, who has been vehemently protesting against the Union Farm Bills. Bhatti Vikramarka also organized relay fast at Indira Park in Hyderabad in January. Last November, he had organized 60 kilometer tractor rally in Khammam district. In the month of December, he had organized human chain protest and Raitu Kavatu (farmers march) in Khammam against the farm bills.
