The State Election Commission has announced the repoll in 69 polling stations of Old Malakpet (ward no. 26) following a complaint of missing party symbol on the ballot paper. The complaint was filed by a CPI contesting candidate who said that his party symbol was not found in the ballot paper.

The repoll will be held on 3 December, from 7 am to 6 pm in 69 polling stations. The Election Commission has also mentioned that in view of the repoll, publication, broadcasting and telecasting of exit polls on GHMC elections is banned till 6 pm, 3 December.
