With the appointments of Justice Rajesh Bindal And Justice Aravind Kumar, the Supreme Court will have full working strength of 34 judges.
The Supreme Court Collegium on January 31 recommended their names for elevation. Therefore, on February 10, the Centre notified their appointments.
This being the second swearing-in ceremony which happened in the Supreme Court within a span of one week. Last Monday, five judges – Justice Pankaj Mithal, Justice Sanjay Karol, Justice PV Sanjay Kumar, Justice Ahsanuddin Amanullah and Justice Manoj Mishra- had taken oath as the judge of Supreme Court.
