State-Level Joint Festival-2023 Concludes, PARTICIPANTS AWARDED

With firm efforts to preserve and promote Haryanvi culture, the Haryana Art and Cultural Affairs Department, in collaboration with the Haryana Lok Kala Sangh, Rohtak, organized the State-Level Joint Festival-2023 program in Rohtak. This program was conducted under the guidance of Chief Secretary V. Umashankar and Director Dr. Amit Agrawal of the Department of Arts and Culture. It is an initiative to acquaint the younger generation with the rich Haryanvi culture while working to preserve it. Various competitions were organized from October 15 to 24, in which enthusiastic participation was seen from rural women, as well as students from schools and colleges across the state. In the State-Level Joint Festival and Competition, the winners will be awarded sequentially with the first prize of 51,000 rupees, the second prize of 31,000 rupees, and the third prize of 21,000 rupees, and two consolation prizes of 11,000 rupees each. Recognizing the dedication and talent of female participants in the joint competition, the department has decided to provide six encouragement awards, each worth 5,100 rupees. Additionally, each woman and female student participating in the state level competition will receive a certificate of merit and an award of 1,100 rupees. Approximately 200 women from across the state participated in the joint competition. In the State-Level Joint Festival and Competition, Manju from Rohtak received the first prize, Sangita received the second, Sneh Dhull received the third, Rekha of Jind received the fourth, and Sunita Rani received the fifth prize. Encouragement awards have been given to achievers, including Anjali and Sheelam from Jhajjar, Indu Bhawana from Rohtak, Amita Dhandha from Panchkula, and Seeta and Suman from Sonipat.”
