Chief Secretary Sanjeev Kaushal highlighted Haryana’s commitment to embracing the “digital wave” for enhanced transparency and efficiency in implementing the PM Gati Shakti plan.
He emphasized the significance of regular meetings under the state monitoring program (SMP) as a demonstration of Haryana’s dedication to sustained progress, ensuring tangible results for the PM Gati Shakti initiative. Kaushal further pointed to Invest India’s recent report, revealing a remarkable surge in Haryana’s Gross State Domestic Product (GSDP), projecting an impressive increase of over 16% compared to the previous fiscal year. This surge equates to a substantial USD 140 billion (approximately Rs 11,65,985 crore), marking a significant leap from the preceding year’s USD 120.44 billion.
Kaushal outlined the state’s vision of streamlining the approval process for large-scale infrastructure projects, replicating successful models, and fostering ongoing collaboration among departments. The emphasis on the digital transformation aligns with Haryana’s commitment to modern governance and leveraging technology for economic growth and development.
