Speaker Gupta announces Janata Darbar to address people’s issues

Haryana Assembly Speaker Gyan Chand Gupta announced the organization of Janata Darbar to address people’s issues, where both individual and collective problems are being resolved. The Speaker held the court at the Field Hostel in Sector 6, attentively addressing concerns brought forward by the public.

Gupta informed that the government is in the process of approving the demand for 30 roads in various villages of the Panchkula area, with financial approval already received for the Ratewali road, set to commence next week.
During the session, a request was made regarding the bridge collapse during floods in

Khetparali, and the construction of a retaining wall on the culvert. The Speaker promptly instructed immediate action. Additionally, he ensured arrangements for another teacher when the teacher in Bhagwanpur school goes on leave to avoid disruption in children’s studies.

Gupta directed measures to increase the capacity of the transformer for adequate electricity supply in Khetparali, repair the power line from Dudhgarh, and extend the timing of the Panchkula bus to 2.30 pm.

Responding to the residents’ demand, Gupta provided necessary directives for the regularization of Chandi Enclave and Kota Tanda Colony near Chandi Mandir. He also urged officials to conduct a feasibility study to upgrade the middle school in MDC Sector 4 and take action on providing space in Sector 23 for a temple.

Additionally, Gupta instructed the formation of a joint team comprising Police, Municipal Corporation, and HSVP to address illegal encroachments on HSVP land in Raila Sector 12A. The Speaker, accompanied by various party officials, including BJP District President Ajay Sharma, MC Narendra Lubana, Jai Kaushik, Harendra Malik, Yogendra Sharma, and former Chairman Ashok Sharma, attentively listened to and addressed the personal and collective problems of over 55 individuals during the event.
