After a snag was detected midair Paris-bound Air India flight made an emergency landing in Delhi on Wednesday that was carrying 210 passengers. The national carrier said the flight has landed safely at the airport.
Due to a “Slats Drive” snag message Air India B787-800 aircraft VT-AND operating flight AI143 from Delhi to Paris stuck during air turnback after which an emergency landing was made at Delhi airport, said a senior Directorate General of Civil Aviation.
Meanwhile, an inquiry has been ordered by DGCA after an Air India flight made an emergency landing at Indira Gandhi International Airport on Wednesday.
Moreover, owing to a flap issue at 2:25 pm an emergency landing was made. At 1:28 pm flight took off and at 2:03 pm a full emergency was declared.
However, all 210 passengers on board are safe.
