In Jhunjhunu, Rajasthan, the court pronounced the sentence in the case of Madanlal’s murder, which took place almost 4 years ago, where Madanlal was beaten to death. The Jhunjhunu court has sentenced 6 convicts to life imprisonment in the murder case.
District Judge Devendra Dixit, while delivering the verdict in the murder case, sentenced Shankar Singh, son of Mahavir Singh, Jitendra Singh, son of Savai Singh, Mahendra Singh, son of Shardul Singh, Manmohan Singh, son of Mahendra Singh, Ravindra Singh, son of Umeed Singh, and Bhavani Singh, son of Mahaveer Singh, to life imprisonment.
Considering all the accused as guilty, the judge imposed a life imprisonment sentence along with a fine of 5,000 rupees on each accused. Failure to pay the fine will result in a harsh imprisonment of 3 months for each accused. The judge, while giving punishment in various sections to all these accused, ordered them to serve all the sentences together.According to the report, Rameshwar Lal, son of Bhadarmal, from Morida Tana in Jhunjhunu, had filed a report at the Udaypura Police Station on May 1, 2019. In the complaint, Rameshwar Lal stated that on April 30, 2019, his son Madan, who is an employee in the Udaipur City Municipality, was on leave. He got off at the Manaksas bus stand around 8 pm. There, Purnamal, Rohitash, and others were waiting for him. Shankar, Bhavani Singh, Manmohan, and 10-12 other people attacked him with sticks, rods, and knives, inserting chilli powder into his eyes. All three suffered serious injuries in the attack. From there, they were taken to the Neem Ka Thana Hospital, and then they were referred to Jaipur. Madan Lal died during treatment. The police presented a murder complaint against all six accused in the relevant court. Public prosecutor Bharat Bhushan Sharma, representing the state government, presented the statements of 20 witnesses in this case, arguing in court that the allegation of murder is fully proven, and human blood was found on the sticks and rods seized from the accused. Confirmation of chilli powder was also found at the crime scene.
