“Situation in Manipur serious”: Kharge ahead of Oppn delegation meeting with President Murmu

On Wednesday, Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge said that President Draupadi Murmu, who is from a tribal community, will comprehend the “serious” situation in the violently disturbed state of Manipur.

Senior opposition figures from the INDIA alliance are scheduled to meet the president at Rashtrapati Bhavan today and present her with a report on the state of affairs in the northeastern state, along with the 21 MPs who recently visited Manipur.
