Sit-in protest at school amid shortage of teachers

Bhinay: Yesterday, in the Nimeda Gram village of the Bhinay Panchayat Samiti, rural residents and students, along with parents, staged a sit-in protest at the school, barricading the premises to draw attention to the shortage of teachers. The villagers claim that the consistent lack of teachers in the school is adversely affecting the education of children. They previously brought this issue to the attention of higher authorities but haven’t received any response so far. Despite the news of the school’s blockade, no official took any information or action on the matter for nearly an hour and a half.
