Services of contractual, daily wage workers to be regularised

In a significant move, the Himachal Pradesh government has announced that it will regularise the services of contractual employees who have completed two years in March this year. The state government has also decided to regularise the services of daily wage workers completing four years of service as of March 31, 2023, and September 30, 2023.
According to a statement issued by the state government on Sunday, the services of contractual employees who have completed two years of service as of March 31, 2023, would be regularised. The same applies to those who are due to complete two years of service by September 30, 2023. Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu stated that the present state government is committed to the welfare of its employees and has taken various measures to benefit them. The announcement is expected to bring significant relief to thousands of contractual and daily wage employees in the state.
The decision is likely to improve the morale of employees and boost their productivity, which would, in turn, benefit the state’s development. The regularisation of services would provide job security to employees and ensure that their rights are protected. The government’s decision has been hailed by the employees’ unions, who have been demanding regularisation for a long time. They have expressed their gratitude to the Chief Minister and his government for taking this important step.
The move is in line with the government’s commitment to providing better working conditions and job security to employees, which is crucial for their overall well-being. It is expected to have a positive impact on the state’s economy and strengthen its workforce.
