Security ramped up ahead of G20 Summit

Final touches are being given to the preparations for the ‘G20’ summit. Rehearsals and practice sessions for different security teams and traffic police will begin on Saturday. There will be a foolproof security cordon on the routes through which the convoy of foreign guests will pass. If something urgent happens, there are special houses with strong shields to keep the President and Prime Ministers from other countries safe.
These secure houses are constructed at locations where foreign visitors will reach them. Additionally, the security forces, particularly the ‘NSG’, are ready for helicopter operations. Over two hundred NSG commandos have been trained for this task. They will conduct operations using helicopters in case of an emergency.
