Following the security breach that erupted in parliament on Wednesday, Haryana Legislative Assembly Speaker Gyan Chand Gupta held an emergency meeting with the Security officials here on Thursday and instructed them to be on alert to ensure proper security arrangements during the three-days winter session starting from today. Issuing directions, he said that proper rules and procedures should be followed while making entry cards for the spectators coming to witness the proceedings of the session. Besides, he also issued directions in order to ensure the installation of cameras in the audience gallery with immediate effect and pertaining to the same, the process of installing cameras continued till late evening. After the instructions of Legislative Assembly Speaker Gyan Chand Gupta, it was decided that the Legislative Assembly Secretariat will share information about the visitors to Hartron after the recommendations of the MLAs regarding the visitors. Following the same, the security wing of the Legislative Assembly will have to check every person at three designated places in coordination with Haryana Police. Separate cabins have been set up for security checking of female spectators. Besides, any visitor carrying any item like purse, pen, mobile phone, water bottle, belt, black cloth, bangle etc will not be allowed to enter the house. Apart from this, no one will be allowed to stand there and to ensure the same, it has been decided to deploy security guards during the preceding of the session. Similarly, the officials and employees are required to have their identity card, while entering the house.
