Gujarat Education Minister Bhupendrasinh Chudasama said that the decision of the state government to resume direct education in Class 10 and Class 12 in all the board affiliated schools in the state from 11 January has received wide response on the first day. Along with this, post-graduate and final-year study classes at college level have also started in the state.
Giving details in this regard, Minister of Education Bhupendrasinh Chudasama and Minister of State Vibhavariben Dave said that after a long period of ten months, direct education work of Class 10 and Class 12, about 35% to 40% of the students have received education directly in the classrooms on the first day of this teaching work.
The Ministers expressed satisfaction over this arrangement and instructed the officials to continue this arrangement on a permanent basis. He thanked the parents and also requested to send the remaining students to schools. The ministers expressed confidence that the number would gradually increase in the coming days.
