Sangwan calls for ‘Akrosh’ rally in Rohtak on February 4

Frustrated by the government and education department’s unyielding stance, ministerial staff personnel in the field has united and initiated a phased movement. In the initial phase, extensive district-level meetings were conducted, and notices were dispatched through the DEO. The second phase, scheduled for December 28, involves the State Committee delegation submitting their demands to the Director. On January 10, a vocal protest is planned at Shiksha Sadan, Panchkula.

Additionally, a significant number will participate in the Akrosh rally in Rohtak on February 4, addressing common demands raised by the Sarva Karmachari Sangh Haryana. Representing the Haryana Education Ministerial Staff Association State Core Committee, leaders including State President Sandeep Sangwan and others expressed discontent with unmet demands related to taxes, the non-implementation of an agreement with the Education Minister after 16 months, and concerns about employment termination due to the implementation of paperless offices, staffing policies, and NEP by the BJP-JJP coalition government.

They highlighted issues such as forced transfers of clerks with nominal salaries, lack of adjustments, increasing workload, and unfair testing practices for job entry, annual salary increase, and promotions. The ministerial staff, deemed the government’s backbone, are facing challenges such as low salaries, promotion stagnation, and pension denial, with the government and bureaucracy showing disregard for their concerns. The workers, feeling exploited, have announced a movement against this injustice and exploitation, gearing up for protests on January 10 and a rally in Rohtak on February 4. A public relations campaign is underway, involving block-level meetings, to prepare for the Halla Bol protest and rally.
