Samsung to Unveil its Latest Galaxy Z Fold 6 in July; Prices Leaked

Samsung is preparing to reveal its newest foldable smartphone, the Galaxy Z Fold6, soon. Rumours suggest that Samsung plans to unveil the device at an event in Paris, possibly on July 10, 2024.

The successor to the Galaxy Z Fold5 promises several upgrades, including a less visible crease on the main display, improved design elements, and possibly a refined folding mechanism.

While Samsung has dominated the foldable market, facing competition is inevitable. OnePlus Open and Vivo’s Fold X3 are making strides in the foldable phone segment, challenging Samsung’s position.

The Galaxy Z Fold6 will offer three storage options: 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB. Samsung has adjusted the pricing for the Galaxy Z Fold6 in the United States, with all variants seeing a $100 increase compared to last year.

Leaked information suggests that the Galaxy Z Fold6 will be available in three colours: Navy, Silver Shadow, and Pink. It weighs 239 grams, lighter than its predecessor, with a 7.6-inch display ideal for multitasking.

In terms of Indian pricing, considering Samsung’s typical premium of 5-10% compared to the US market, the leaked US pricing suggests a potential cost of around Rs. 1,66,715.85 when converted from dollars.

Samsung is likely to offer pre-booking incentives and bundled accessory options to attract early adopters of the Galaxy Z Fold6, with more details expected closer to the launch date.
